How much public charging costs
Most public chargers belong to the government network run by the Climate Action Authority (ChargeMyRide app): around 19c/kWh on standard chargers and 20c on fast ones, a little less from midnight to 6am, from noon to 4pm and on Sundays. Private operators set their own prices. Under the EU AFIR rules, public chargers must show the price per kWh and new fast chargers (50 kW or more) must accept card payment. With an EV meter, charging at home costs about 13c/kWh.
