How much public charging costs
Each operator (EAC e-charge, Petrolina, EV Power, e-Point, Lidl, Tesla and others) sets its own price, which can vary with the app, card or membership you use, so the same charger can cost different drivers different amounts. Prices include 19% VAT. Under the EU AFIR rules, public chargers must show the price per kWh and new fast chargers (50 kW or more) must accept card payment. Charging at home is almost always much cheaper.
